DIANOIA’S EATERY COMMITMENT TO GUEST & EMPLOYEE SAFETY

At DiAnoia’s Eatery, we have always had a focus on guest and employee safety, but now more than ever we know the increased importance on safety. In an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19, we are committing to the following safety measures. We are strictly following the requirements from the State of Pennsylvania as well as following CDC guidelines. We are also implementing some of our own safety practices that go above and beyond these state mandated requirements. Our team, along with you as patrons, hope to create a safe place for employees to work and a safe space for you to enjoy a night out of the house.

PLEASE WEAR A MASK

All guests and staff will be required to wear masks at all times. Customers are required to wear masks while entering, exiting, or otherwise traveling throughout the restaurant. Guests are now required to wear a mask or face covering while seating, even if outdoors. Face coverings may be removed when your food arrives to the table and you are eating. Wearing a mask is mandatory at DiAnoia’s Eatery.

PLEXIGLASS PARTITIONS

Although it’s not required, we have installed acrylic partitions at our host stand and our main register to create a barrier when placing an order or talking with our host. Please respect this barrier and do not try to approach from the open sides.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY OFFERING TAKEOUT AND OUTDOOR SEATING. Eventually, when we reopen our dining room, we will follow state guidelines of only allowing 50% capacity for our building and all tables are spaced at least 6 ft apart. We will be closely monitoring this and ask that if you are waiting for a takeout order or waiting to speak to the host, that you please wait outside so that we can keep our occupancy count. When dining in, please be mindful of the time you are spending in the restaurant so that others can also enjoy.

DAILY STAFF TEMPERATURE CHECKS

Prior to each shift, every DiAnoia’s Eatery and Pizzeria Davide staff member has their temperature taken by our safety manager. Anyone showing an elevated temperature is not permitted to work and is sent home.

SAFETY MANAGER

We appointed our manager, Lee, as our full-time Safety Coordinator. Lee’s main focus now is to make sure all safety guidelines are being met and followed by staff and by customers. When Lee is not working, we always have a manager dedicated to safety for all shifts.

PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS

Proper hand washing (at least 20 seconds in hot soapy water) is something that is part of the food service business already, but we are requiring that our staff wash their hands more frequently and always wear gloves when handling food. We are also stressing the importance of not touching their mask or face. We also have hand sanitizer stationed throughout the restaurant for guests and staff to utilize in between washings and at registers. As a guest, we ask that you wash your hands frequently when dining out and refrain from touching your face.

INCREASED SANITATION

DiAnoia’s Eatery hires a third party cleaning service, Eco Refresh Cleaners, for after hours cleaning, and since the onset of Covid-19, we have increased the frequency of sanitation visits. Additionally, throughout the day, we have staff members frequently sanitizing high-touch surfaces as well as sanitizing all tables between guest use.

DISH WASHING

The food service industry already has strict sanitation rules in place for washing of dishes and glassware between each use. We are frequently calibrating our dish washing machines and testing them to be sure they are operating at the correct high heat temperatures and making sure that the sanitation solution is fully stocked on each machine.

RESERVATIONS

When dine-in service begins, we will be highly suggesting reservations ahead of time and will be maintaining customer records for reservations in case we need to contact you after your reservation. We will also be taking contact information for any tables that are not pre-reserved for contract tracing abilities.

TOUCHLESS SINK OPTIONS

We recently installed touch-less sinks and paper towel dispensers in our guest restrooms to allow for the safest hand washing.

NO SELF SERVICE & SINGLE USE CONIDMENTS

We are removing all shared condiments from use. So items like ketchup, salt, pepper, etc will be given in single use packages upon request. We are also eliminating any self-serve stations. If you’d like water on your table or with your meal, we have bottled water available. We also will not be pouring your water or wine table-side for you. For the time being, these items will be left on your table and the guests will pour at their leisure.

DiAnoia's Eatery is currently open for outdoor dining, indoor dining at 50% capacity and takeout for dinner only. Our temporary hours are 4pm-8:30pm Tuesday-Saturday.
